The gameplan against Thomas is pretty simple.
The Columbus Blue Jackets enjoyed an early lead over the Florida Panthers on Saturday night. The culprit? Tim Thomas and his penchant for over-aggression.
Columbus figured out pretty quickly that if you carry the puck towards the net on the rush, Thomas will follow you like a dog following bacon in its owner's hand.
Pretty neat save at first there, but that whole gaping net thing turned out to be a problem.
Minutes later, Ryan Johansen scored when Boone Jenner drew Thomas way out of his crease again.
Just stay in your net, Tim. It'll work out better for you.
